On-Site IT Visit Process

At Q8IT, we follow a structured and proactive checklist during every on-site visit to ensure your entire IT environment runs smoothly and securely.

Phase 1 – User Device Inspection & Maintenance

  • Our technician checks all user PCs and laptops.
  • Performs basic cleaning and optimization of Windows.
  • Verifies system integrity, updates, software health, and antivirus protection.
  • Ensures stable connectivity between user devices and office printers.
  • Tests access and communication with core servers (e.g., AD Server, Data Server, Exchange Server, etc.).

Phase 2 – Network Cabinet Evaluation

  • The engineer inspects all network devices inside the cabinet.
  • Verifies switches, routers, firewalls, patch panels, and physical connections.
  • Identifies any loose cables, overheating, or device misbehavior.
  • Notes any recommendations for upgrade or cleanup.
  • Documents the findings in a structured report.

Phase 3 – Live Issue Handling

  • After the checklist is completed, we approach users directly.
  • Each employee is asked if they’re facing any IT issue.
  • Minor problems are fixed immediately on-site.
  • Any major or pending issues are documented for follow-up.
  • The designated staff member or department head signs off once the work is completed.

🗓 Routine Maintenance Schedule

  • Network Cabinet Cleaning is performed  every 6 months and once during the contract period.
  • User Device Maintenance is conducted  every 6 months and once during the contract period.
